Sombra × Tabby Booth
When two worlds collide.
Sombra creates handmade lighting from vintage and rescued textiles, while Tabby Booth brings her distinctive hand-painted artwork, inspired by animals, nature and folklore.
Together, we’ve created a small collection of three completely unique pendant lampshades — bringing Tabby’s expressive drawings onto the form of a Sombra shade.
Each piece is handmade and individually painted by Tabby, making every shade an original work of art as well as a functional light.
Only three pieces have been created for this collaboration.

Handmade by Sombra from natural linen and individually hand-painted by Tabby Booth, Birds features two striking black birds facing one another, surrounded by Tabby’s expressive, graphic lines.
The artwork wraps around the shade, revealing a different part of the composition from every angle. Painted directly onto the fabric, each mark and variation is part of its character.
Only one Birds lampshade exists.
